David Wandschneider, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist, and has been a psychotherapist for over 15 years. He received his PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
Dr. Wandschneider practices with an interpersonal therapeutic approach which is helpful for relational stress and conflict. He also utilizes cognitive and behavior interventions strategies, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (A.C.T.). He has extensive experience working with clients having depression, anxiety and other mood diagnoses. Further, he sees clients with ADHD symptoms, helping with focusing and organization, as well as the emotional processing that is often needed. He enjoys working with clients who are struggling with difficult life transitions and challenges such as families and individuals going through divorce, and the stress that often coincides with blended families. Dr. Wandschneider is also a certified alcohol and drug counselor.
He works with adults, couples, adolescents, families and children as young as five.
